"Ombre" literally means gradation in French, which refers to the dark-to-light fade of color that is used in the technique. Ok, so maybe it’s not part of your family genes for your hair to grow long and healthy. Oh, but i've got news for you. There are universal rules to follow to achieve stronger, healthier hair- regardless of your hair texture. If you follow these secrets consistently, your hair may look similiar to Beyonce or Kim Kardashian's long gorgeous locks.

1. Use Less Heat: I'm not just referring to UV rays either. I also mean blow dryers, flat irons and curling irons. They can really fry tresses by drying it out and causing split-ends. But fear not- you can still create smooth, sleek, healthy-looking hair as long as you use the right tools and products. Prior to heat styling, use a thermal heat protectant spray. Secondly, opt for a high-quality flat iron such as a Paul Mitchell Expression 1.0 flat iron. The cheap "ceramic" irons on the market don't come close to delivering the glossier, healthier hair you want and deserve. You truly get what you pay for.

2. Deep Condition… at least once a week- especially if your hair is not so healthy. A good deep conditioner will help replace lost moisture and repair some of the abuse inflicted on it (i.e. from the blow-dryer and chemicals).

3. Get a Trim: Do your hair a favor and get it trimmed every 6-8 weeks. Split, frayed ends are not flattering and is never The Look you want…

Guess what you will never believe this,

I went to the mall today to pick up my favorite make-up artillary(lol) products. Instead of just walking in and buying I wanted to ask questions about new products, better products, and the best products to compare to my usual pick-up. The sales rep started in asking about the make-up that I was wearing, the coverage it was giving me and what I looked like by the end of the day.Then she asked me about night time cleansing, masking and moisturizing. I know a lot right, I answered by saying Yes I cleanse, I mask, and I moisturize my face but not every night and sometimes I have a bad habit of sleeping in my make-up. She then said to me that sleeping in make-up AGES YOUR SKIN 7 DAYS!!!!!

(OMG) I added about 5years to my life, How Do I Get that time back?
